When I first thought about entering the Race Across America (RAAM) in 2019, I knew I would need the best coach possible to optimise my chances of finishing. 

Marko Baloh's name immediately came to mind; but not just for his career performances in ultra distance cycling, especially RAAM. I also knew of his success as a coach with his athletes' record in RAAM and other ultra events.

I can proudly say that I am now a part of that success with my finish in the 2023 RAAM. But I could not have done it without his training program and counsel along the way, through the highs and lows that are a part of ultra cycling. 

Marko's training program was hard, and took me to new levels that I had never reached before, but it also accommodated recovery and other areas of my life.

Most importantly, the journey from when I first signed up with Marko to when I crossed the finish line in RAAM was fun. Best of al, the journey is not over!
